David Griffiths, a New Zealander and graduate of England's prestigious National Film School, has worked as a commercial director and director of photography shooting features, short films and television series. As a commercial director he specializes in closeup and tabletop cinematography, especially of liquids.

With his brother Ken, David co-directed the feature-length award-winning documentary, "Gandolfi: A Family Business," which debuted at the National Film Theatre in London in 2009. He lives in New York City.
